Location and urban context
Siebenbürgerstraße is located in Salzburg’s Liefering district, offering quick access to the city center and major transportation routes. The established residential neighborhood, with its quiet side streets, provides a stable and wellrooted setting for sustainable real estate development and longterm investment.

Key features
Execution in various construction phases
The phased implementation reflects the needs of the current residents on the site. It allows most of the approximately 60 households to move into the new development with only one relocation. The two buildings complement the specific plot and form part of a broader neighborhood development.
Innovative Access Concept
A freestanding elevator shaft connects the two buildings. A walkway provides access to the structures and leads to the residential units. At the same time, this access design creates shared areas that support interaction and community within the development.
Compact typologies
The project consists primarily of two room apartments built using an economically optimized timber construction method. The compact typologies support efficient use of space and create affordable residential units that are well suited for dense urban development.
