ABOUT THE PROJECT
GROPYUS is delivering its first project in Hamburg for the INP Group. The non-rectangular building geometry enables highly efficient use of a complex inner-city site.

- Three building sections ranging from five to seven stories
- Housing options for families, students, seniors, and residents with specific housing needs
- Ground-floor cafe and commercial spaces that create an active neighborhood edge

Location and urban context
The project is located near the former Wilhelmsburg Town Hall in the Wilhelmsburger Rathausviertel urban development area. The neighborhood brings together housing, commercial uses, and social infrastructure, creating space for the district’s continued development.

Hamburg Standard in Practice
Wilhelmsburger Rathausviertel is the first pilot district to implement the Hamburg Standard. The initiative aims to reduce construction costs through adapted standards, targeted material choices, and streamlined processes. GROPYUS applies this approach through digital planning, industrial off-site production, and timber construction.
Sustainable Building Design
Green façades, photovoltaic systems, and rainwater harvesting contribute to lower energy demand, reduced resource consumption, and lower operational costs throughout the building life cycle.
